Le Ginglet 2021 (Trousseau) - Vin de France - Winery Bornard
Macerated cherry, hints of lightly smoked meat -mountain peck-, wet undergrowth wood, dried flowers -peony- and a slightly metallic finish typical of Trousseau.
Finely tight tannins. Brrrrr, we tremble !!!!!
PLUS: Ginglet, (Patois word meaning "to have a drink"). 100% Trousseau (or triffaut) on gravel and red marl - 100% destemming - pumping over once a day - three-week vatting period - fermentation in vats and ageing in foudre for 8 to 15 months.
