Wine from Corsica and Provence: our selection of organic, biodynamic and natural wines
Here are our best natural wines from Provence and Corsica. A warm and windy Mediterranean climate, limestone and eruptive rock soils give powerful and rich wines. Three main appellations in Provence: Côtes de Provence, Côteaux Varois and Côteaux d'Aix. Grape varieties: Mourvèdre, grenache noir, cinsault, syrah, clairette, vermentino, grenache blanc, ugni are adapted to these conditions. A new generation of natural winemakers is bringing freshness and drinkability to these wines. Corsica differs by the originality of its island grape varieties such as niellucio, sciacarello, bianco gentile, however often blended with mainland grape varieties. Wines of Corsica and Provence: a climate all their own!
The vineyards of the south-eastern quarter of France are characterised by a warm and windy Mediterranean climate, draining limestone and eruptive rock soils that produce powerful, full-bodied and rich wines. Under the same climate, Corsica differs by the originality of its insular grape varieties such as Niellucio, Sciacarello, Bianco Gentile, however mixed with regional grape varieties imported from the continent.
