We're talking to you about his Winery
After having worked in a few South African estates and made its weapons at Gérard Gauby's, Tom Lubbe puts down his suitcases definitively in Calce in Roussillon and creates in 2001 the Winery Matassa (name of a nearby river). Beautiful but small plots of old vines are kept there according to the precepts of biodynamics. Fifteen hectares to pamper and accompany, in complete freedom. The style of Tom Lubbe is refined year after year on these magnificent terroirs that reach up to 600 metres in altitude. | The whites and the reds are precise, with intensity, freshness and depth, which makes these natural wines highly sought after today. A work already confirmed but which only makes official all the good that we think of the current shape of this valley of Agly which hides wonders! And Matassa is one of them, hands down. https://www.matassawine.fr/ |
