Sylvaner Vieille Vigne 2023 - Vin d'Alsace - Jean Pierre Rietsch
Here we start with a nose of fresh yellow stone fruit.
The palate is simply fresh, with a salty, almost iodized finish and a touch of citrus and pebbles (minerality). Numerous possible pairings, but we're going to stick with the idea of the famous sauerkraut!
Vinification:
Fermentation using indigenous yeasts.
Aged on lees in vats for 7 months.
