What is the history of Winery de la Réaltière?

The Winery de la Réaltière, located in the heart of Provence in the Pays d'Aix region, is a family-run Winery wine estate of great authenticity. Founded in the 1990s by Patrice Bernard, the Winery vineyard today covers 12 hectares, nestled at an altitude of 450 metres, offering a unique terroir and a diversity of exceptional soils. The altitude and limestone soils of Winery give the wines the freshness and minerality for which they are renowned.

From the outset, Patrice Bernard opted for an approach in harmony with nature, adoptingorganic farming practices as early as 2008. The Winery then took an even more demanding approach by converting to biodynamic farming, with certification obtained in 2012. This choice is in line with a desire to preserve the natural balance of the terroir, enhance the vitality of the soils and offer wines that faithfully reflect the environment that shapes them.

Today, Winery de la Réaltière is renowned for its handcrafted wines, produced with a minimum of intervention in the cellar, favoring the pure expression of fruit and terroir. The wines of Winery are the fruit of a family passion for sustainable viticulture that respects biodiversity.

  • Syrah: This emblematic Grape variety of the Rhône Valley also flourishes at Winery de la Réaltière, bringing structure, depth and spicy, floral notes. Syrah gives the red wines of Winery remarkable complexity and length on the palate.

  • Cinsault: Used mainly for rosé wines, Cinsault brings finesse and freshness, with delicate aromas of red fruits and flowers. This Grape variety grape variety is ideal for the production of elegant, well-balanced rosés, highly prized in the region.

  • Rolle (Vermentino): Rolle is also grown at Winery to produce white wines. This Mediterranean Grape variety is renowned for its fresh, white-fleshed fruit and citrus aromas, with a beautiful minerality that reflects the limestone terroir.
