Why this Box 

The idea behind Box is to tell you about 3 Beaujolais crus that are more suitable for laying down. But this doesn't mean you should forget these bottles in your cellar for a few years. In fact, they can just as easily be enjoyed now and for a long time to come.

In reality, it will also depend on your tastes, your preferences for frisky, explosive, greedy, fresh, dense, young wines, or equally juicy, less dense, more complex wines, sometimes even pinotent wines (which develop notes of a pretty pinot noir).

1. Yann Bertrand's Fleurie cuvée Chaos 2022. A fine wine, with a powerful, intense nose, floral and spicy! Gros vin
   Fleurie is the appellation for the finest, most delicate, elegant and floral wines. The name Fleurie does not derive from this floral notion, but from the name of a Roman legionary, Florus.
2. Jean Foillard's Morgon Côte de Py 2022. Morgon is the best-known climat on an ancient volcano with special soils rich in basalt, at an altitude of 350m. This terroir produces dense red and black fruit wines with great ageing potential. Jean Foillard comes from the Marcel Lapierre school of winemaking, an outstanding winemaker who has tamed this terroir to give his wines a little more touch and immediacy (drinkability).
3. Le Moulin à vent "sous la Roche" 2022 from Winery Thillardon, a granitic (pink) subsoil.
   The wine here is tactile, velvety and spicy. Beautiful structure.
   Until 1924, wines from this appellation were known as vins des Thorins (now climat Thorins); it owes its recent name to the presence of mills in the past, wind being an important element in this area. The wines are full-bodied and, as we said earlier, for the most part designed for laying down (up to 15 years with no problem).
