Fortune Cookie 2021 - Vin de France - Winery La Calmette
A cuvée inspired by the Oulipo movement in literature, which believes that it is from constraint that creativity is born. This cuvée, "Fortune Cookie", will always have the same label.
"In 2021, the Merlots were of a rare quality. This Grape variety which fears summer droughts will have benefited from the rains of 2021. We vinified a selection of the finest Merlots in whole bunches, for a week, to keep fruit and extract only the best tannins."
A single plot of Merlot for a pure, infused profile. Flowers and
red fruits. In the mouth, the tannin is discreet but deep. The touch is full and fluid at the same time.
