The Winery Calcarius
A Winery pioneer for natural wine in ItalyThe Winery Calcarius was born from the collaboration between Valentina Passalacqua (of the eponymous Winery ) and Danilo Marcucci, pioneer and initiator of natural wines in Italy. In the IGT Puglia appellation area - the Puglia region in the boot of Italy - several parcels are selected to best represent this limestone terroir. The aim is to make wines that are digestible, pure and marked by a high minerality. Organic and Italian winesAll the wines of Winery Calcarius are certified organic. All labels of Winery Calcarius are represented by the acronym "Ca" (for limestone) accompanied by the numbers 20 (the atomic number of limestone) and 40.08 (its atomic weight).
