We're talking to you about his Winery
Respect for the vine, the soil and the grapes, Winery Jacques Lassaigne is proud to offer pure, generous and original champagnes. In Montgueux, in the Côte des Bar in the Aube, on this chalk hill called the 'Montrachet de la Champagne', the chardonnay gives its full measure: finesse, elegance, precision. These adjectives fit perfectly with the characteristics of Emmanuel Lassaigne's cuvees. Today at the helm of this magnificent ship, he has been striving for several years to produce ever purer, more natural champagnes. |
Emmanuel Lassaigne seeks to produce typical whites as close as possible to the taste of the grape and the soil thanks to vinification partly in casks, low pressure during the foam setting, on-the-fly disgorging without glazing, without adding sulphite or dosage liqueur. Less chiseled and taut than the chardonnays of the Côte des Blancs, these champagnes assert themselves in a more exotic, tasty and delicate profile. |
