| After a few years of studies in wine (BAC, BTS Viti oeno ..), Romuald Cousy became a wine worker at Château Barouillet (Bergerac, Monbazillac). After 5 years of discovering and learning about organic farming, he decided to settle down at the age of 22. No member of his family is in the Winery of the land, the vineyard and therefore no family property or other piece of land ... You have to start from scratch. It will not be without difficulty because only one banker will follow him and agrees to finance his project. | It is on the Duraquoise lands, in Saint-Sernin-de-Duras, that Winery l'Ambitio will be born in 2016! This Winery is created from scratch with vines that are rented out the first year and then bought afterwards in the commune of Savignac de Duras. The Winery is today 4ha in production with woodland and surrounding land. Romuald has even pulled up rows of vines to protect himself from the neighbours' chemicals. His Winery is certified organic (Ecocert). |
