Côte de Brouilly 2022 - Alex Foillard
Nice approach to the wine, lots of freshness and ripe substance. A wine that doesn't give itself away immediately. A good sign!
The vines are between 30 and 50 years old, on rather schistose terroirs.
Vinification is carried out according to these principles: whole bunches are stored overnight in a cold room before 20 days of carbonic fermentation. Small pump-overs during this period keep the cap moist and homogenize fermentation.
