We're talking to you about his Winery
This very old Winery is located in the heart of Burgenland, an Austrian region close to Hungary and very famous for its red wines, especially from Grape variety Blaufränkisch. Stéphanie and Eduard Tscheppe-Eselböck took over this Winery in 2007 and run their vineyards biodynamically (Demeter certification), respecting their terroirs. The Tscheppe-Eselböck family practise biodynamic agriculture, which is very respectful of the environment, seeking to intervene as little as possible while putting the vines in the best possible position to fight disease on their own. |
At Winery Gut OggauThe vinification is done without any input (in particular without adding sulphite), and is very well controlled by our two winemakers who are very careful to reveal in each cuvée the terroir and the grape varieties that build its personality. Gut Oggau's natural wines are considered a family, with each organic wine having its own character, expressed on the label: the "children" wines are fresh and lively, the "parents" are more serious and structured, and finally the "grandparents" wines are the wiser and more composed. Certainly great natural wines to be discovered as soon as possible! |
