We're talking to you about his Winery
| The 7 ha of the Winery of "Les Vignes d'Olivier", north-west of Montpellier, are exploited without any chemical input to the vine nor any oenological correction during the winemaking process. Olivier Cohen's vintages, real delicacies made from merlot, syrah, grenache and carignan are to be discovered! Olivier is there to ensure that the terroir expresses itself fully by preserving the microbial life of the soils and limiting its average production to 30 hl/ha. A native of Nice, Olivier Cohen worked as a wine merchant for three years before going to work in the vineyards of Thierry Allemand (Cornas) and Antoine Arena (Corsica). | After a few years of observing and learning from these experienced and passionate winegrowers, the idea of taking over a Winery was already germinating. He then took a vocational diploma in farm management and started looking for a piece of land. In January 2014, an opportunity arose: the owner of Mas Genista in Argelliers wanted to retire, so Olivier took over! The well-maintained vineyards allowed him to get straight down to business and start his desire to make natural wines. Long live Olivier! Long live the youth! |
