Aged in stoneware and terracotta amphorae for 11 months, then massaged for 6 months in concrete tanks.
The nose is marked by notes of ripe red fruit, such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by hints of sweet spices and light floral notes. A beautifully fresh wine . "The amphorae allow us to keep the bloodiness of the Cabernet Franc and accentuate the terroir effect on the palate".
The particular ageing process develops velvety, silky tannins that lead to a powerful, fruity finish.
The 2019 vintage of Cuvée 1900 is an excellent choice for those looking for a wine that is both accessible and capable of ageing.
