Mondouze Le Chateau 2022 - Les Grangeons de l'Albarine
The nose is reminiscent of red berries. On the palate, the attack is fresh, with the same aromas as on the nose: raspberry, cherry. Beautiful, velvety texture. Fruity finish.
Not a stupid decanter.
South-facing plot of very stony limestone scree. 20 to 35% slope. Mondeuse noire vines, 15 years old
Whole bunch maceration, 10 days.
Aged in pièces bourguignonnes and second-hand 500l demi muids for 12 months + 6 months in vats
Unfiltered, 1g/hl SO2 at bottling on 08/09/23
