Passionate about ampelography (science and history of the vine), Bernard Plageoles is proud today to be at the head of more than 23 hectares of vineyards in Gaillac (west of Albi) planted only with grape varieties forgotten or lost by decades of profit-oriented agriculture. Until we have set up a real conservatory of these grape varieties, such as braucol, prunelard, green mauzac, ondenc... It is therefore a real experience to taste these wines, especially as Winery makes wine from wines abandoned by the local winemakers themselves! And in Biodynamics, please!! Vin de voile, effervescent brut nature.... elaborated according to the "Cousinié" method sensitive to the balance between the nutrition of the vine & the environment. Pruned in goblet as in the past, the 16 ha of whites and the 3 of reds are free of chemical fertilizers and other inputs.
