We're talking to you about his Winery

Jean-Philippe Padié's vineyard, in Calce, in the Roussillon, is run with complete respect for the soil: ploughing with a horse when the caterpillar does not pass over the steep slopes, very low yields (around 15hl/ha). A hard work that blossoms in biodynamics. Wines of stones, wines of fruit and wines of time, as Jean-Philippe explains so well. The result is as good as his commitment because the complexity and the minerality are there. The story? First wine emotions of our big guy on the Gaillacs of Plageoles then studies of agronomy in Montpellier, passage to the Mas Amiel and Gauby, famous domains of this corner of Roussillon. Laid there in 2003, in the middle of a stony garrigue, it manages 15 ha lost in the middle of rosemary, santoline and thyme. About thirty micro-parcels (7 grape varieties), like aromatic musical notes, allow him to play on the complexity and compose his melodies, giving birth to 4 great flagship vintages.
