More about Leo Dirringer

We're talking to you about his Winery

By offering natural Alsatian wines at low prices, Léo Dirringer is gradually taking over Winery Alsace from his parents, the Ruhlmann-Dirringers.

The family Winery of 14 ha is located in Dambach-la-Ville, a few kilometers north of Colmar. The soil here is rather atypical for Alsatian vineyards as it contains a large granite formation. The Winery has been worked by the family for 4 generations and it is therefore natural that Léo took a BTS in wine making. He then went on to study at the Saint-Mont School of Oenology in Switzerland. During this course he discovered natural wine, in particular with the papess of Swiss wines, Marie-Thérèse Chappaz.

After his training, Léo joined his parents in 2017 to work at Winery . He brings with him ideas and desires. He thus joined Winery , proposing vintages in his own image. He vinifies Alsatian wines in "pure juice", with no inputs and no added sulphites. With him, Winery Dirringer converted to organic farming in 2016 and has been using biodynamic practices in the vineyard for some time.

We have had the opportunity to taste Léo Dirringer 's wines for several years now and we are very happy to finally be able to offer them to you. You will discover wines of terroir, healthy wines. At this price, you would have to be crazy to go without. With Léo Dirringer, the future is assured!
