Fanny Elisabeth Macération 2021 (Pinot Gris) - Winery Julien Meyer (Mireille and Patrick)
Rather long maceration, giving the wine a rather onion-peel (brick) color. Some would call this wine "orange", but... Both nose and palate are marked by notes of fresh, cooked fruit (compote). Substantial body: round, tannic. But the finish is invigorating: superb acidity (jargon for freshness++).
Dense, persistent finish with notes of bitter orange, ginger and freshness++.
