Alma Mater 2022 - Vin de France - Jean-Claude Lapalu
An exceptional artisanal cuvée from J.C Lapalu. This Alma Mater (Latin for "Mother Earth") is characterized by a fine balance between fullness and finesse. Black cherry, violet and liquorice vapors cling delicately to the palate, before taking a silky, mineral turn of the highest order. A rich, lively, natural Beaujolais to die for.
Maceration between 40 and 50 days in 420-liter terracotta amphoras. Aged in vats for 7 to 10 months.
