This cuvée bears this name because it is a wine with fine, tight (present) tannins, and because it is cut out for fine, long ageing. It's a wine that's not lacking in freshness (good acidity, also essential for ageing). Red fruit aromas are present, along with spicy and peppery notes. Long, fruity finish.
