| Considered very quickly as one of the great talents of the Jura (he is in Abergement-le-Petit), and recognized for being extremely passionate and perfectionist, Jean-Baptiste Ménigoz set up a simple philosophy on his 3 hectares of the Bottes Rouges vinification without additives or manipulation. Natural and pure wines! Everything we love. Originally, Jean-Baptiste is a school teacher. Wine is a hobby like any other that he shares with his friend Raphaël Monnier (Winery Ratapoil). | They both run a small vineyard in Arbois. Years spent in the vineyard making their own wine, for themselves but also for the family and friends to enjoy! Years (10 in total!) of learning, making mistakes, and finally getting started for good! Jean-Baptise decided to become winemaker. At first, on a part-time basis, in addition to his work, then, one thing leading to another, on a full-time basis in the commune of Abergement-le-Petit, west of Arbois. |
