Black Giac 2023 - Vin de Savoie - Winery Giachino
Ruby color with purplish highlights. Aromas of redcurrant and morello cherry. The flavor is persistent on the palate, with spicy, roasted notes. A fine wine that will age well for many years. Don't hesitate to decant.
Grape variety Mondeuse 100% - 2 hectares
Terroir : Foothills of Mt Granier, clay-limestone soil, southeast exposure.
Harvest : manual, whole bunches, in crates
Vinification : Pre-fermentation maceration for 2 to 5 days, then maceration for 8 to 15 days before pressing.
Breeding : in oak barrels on total lees for 12 months. Drawn directly from the barrel.
Food and wine pairing : Grilled meats, dishes in sauce, game, cheeses.
